Trump's Decisive and Historic Win Could Mark the Dawn of a Golden Era for America
A triumph without hyphenation or qualification sets the stage for a populist-nationalist rebirth on the verge of America's 250th birthday
They branded him a bigot, a fascist, and a traitor.
They ran a Deep State operation to spy on, sabotage, and subvert half of his first term as president.
They executed two frivolous impeachment processes against him.
They leaked, lied, and slandered him incessantly.
They tried to get his name thrown off the ballot.
They initiated an unprecedented Lawfare Inquisition against him including four indictments plus civil cases to destroy his businesses and bankrupt him, humiliate him, break him, and ultimately jail him for the crime of being a formidable political opponent who had once beaten them and threatened to do so again.
The Lawfare Inquisition if nothing else aimed to sap him of his time and energy – to minimally take him off the campaign trail and deprive him of the rallies pivotal to returning him to the Oval Office.
They left him insecure and twice people tried to assassinate him – one firing off a shot that came within an inch of ending his life, potentially his political movement, and throwing the country into utter chaos.
Yet Donald Trump, and America, survived it all.
In fact, the country did better than survive.
President-Elect Trump, backed by tens of millions of people fed up with the status quo – the tyranny in the name of “defending democracy” – absolutely crushed a Regime that has for nearly a decade been laboring to obliterate him and his followers while relegating our citizens to the position of second-class subjects.
Trump swept the swing states and moved almost every state rightward in shifting thousands of counties toward the GOP.
He came closer to winning in Democrat strongholds from New Jersey to Illinois than any GOP candidate in modern history.
He shifted the electorate rightward across nearly every single cohort – namely including blacks, Latinos, Jews, and younger people.
He outperformed his fellow Republicans in Senate races that nevertheless flipped seats from blue to red.
For the establishment that argued he somehow dragged down past tickets, well, no “Red Wave” ever materialized during the 2022 midterm election where the same fundamental factors largely prevailed.
The difference was that Donald Trump sat atop the ticket this time.
In 2024 Republicans romped to what looks like trifecta representation in Washington, with the once and future president again vastly outperforming establishment favorites.
Trump’s victory was dramatic, decisive, and historic.
In providing the president-elect and his party a likely trifecta, Americans rejected not just Open Borders; or out-of-control tax, spend, and regulatory policies that made prices sky high while take-home pay sagged; or anti-cop pro-crime policies rendering our streets dangerous; or radical gender ideology.
Though many may not appreciate it, their vote for Trump was also a vote against the Censorship-Industrial Complex; weaponized and hyper-politicized law enforcement and national security agencies; the Obama-Biden-Harris Iran First agenda and the administration’s broader efforts to appease enemies and punish allies while seeking to export Wokeism in a perverse brand of imperialism; whole-of-government Wokeness more broadly; and all manner of insanity that eroded liberty and justice, made life worse for the American people, and threatened the very bases and repudiated the very traditions and customs on which this nation has been built.
Americans voted for peace and prosperity; common sense and prudence; the empowerment and elevation of our citizens; sovereignty and sanity.
We the people delivered as close to a mandate as one can get in a 50-50 country.
In so doing, Americans indicated that the conservative-populist-nationalist agenda is what they want, not Obamaism.
Embracing the conservative-populist-nationalist agenda is the way forward for the Republican Party. It resonated across race, class, and every other divide progressives have accentuated and tried to exploit for political gain in their cultural Marxist project to turn America on its head in pursuit of total power.
This was an American triumph without qualification and without hyphenation – a win for everyone. Indeed, it is a triumph that will make life better ultimately for the millions who did not contribute to it and even among them those who vigorously opposed it.
Should the Republican Party fulfill the mandate we the people have given it through executing on the Trump agenda – which could be built upon with up to eight more years should JD Vance pick up its mantle – it will not only redound inordinately to the benefit of the country, but perhaps mark a defining period in American history, a rebirth of sorts.
It’s morning in America.
And if this opportunity is successfully seized, it could mark the dawn of a golden era – a fitting tribute to those who bequeathed us this great nation on the eve of its 250th birthday.
