Sussmann Lied, Justice Denied
My rapid response on the Federalist Radio Hour: The system convicted itself by letting Clinton's lawyer walk
LISTEN: My Take on the Sussmann Acquittal
As I argued in Newsweek last week, even if Special Counsel John Durham was adamant about taking down every last corrupt Russiagate/Spygate actor, he would find himself up against a system completely arrayed against him.
This proved out in the acquittal of Hillary Clinton 2016 campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann yesterday in D.C. federal court.
With jurors like these, why should anyone have expected otherwise—and would they expect otherwise in any case to come involving members of our Deep State and their private sector auxiliaries?
