SPEECH: On the Imperative to Fight Regime Tyranny
We either rise to the occasion or lose the country we love
The following is a written adaptation of a speech I delivered on September 20th before a group of conservative activists in Washington, D.C.
We are in the throes of a Cold Civil War in this country in which our ruling regime has pitted itself against anyone and everyone who would dare dissent from its regressive orthodoxy.
It appears it will stop at nothing to achieve total power.
The administrative state imposes the regime’s Woke anti-religion from on high.
The national security apparatus pursues engaged parents, devout Catholics, and impassioned pro-lifers like domestic terrorists.
The justice system punishes ruling class enemies, while protecting and rewarding its friends.
Pretty much every federal agency does the exact opposite of what its name would suggest.
With the state hyper-regulating every aspect of society, it makes it private sector partners an extension of it. Together, they impose something like the Chinese Communist Party’s social credit system, but with “American characteristics.”
Those partners include Big Business, which hates our guts;
Big Tech, which silences us;
And the corporate media that gaslights us as the regime’s communications arm.
Our K-12 schools seek to turn children against their own nature, their parents, and their country, indoctrinating them into radical gender ideology and racial Marxism – in so doing, preparing the next generation of social justice warriors, who will then attend the universities that serve as feeders to these already corrupted institutions.
Meanwhile, the institutions privilege non-citizens and criminals, and those who want to fundamentally transform America, over law-abiding citizens who cherish America, and want to see her flourish.
In short, our betters have politicized and weaponized practically every vital institution against the Wrongthinkers who make up half this country – turning those institutions against the values and principles that birthed them, against their missions, and against the public to which they exist to serve, while running roughshod over our most precious and fundamental rights.
The intent is to instill fear in, alienate, and demoralize the American people so that they will submit; to enforce ideological conformity; and to cement control.
I call it a War on Wrongthink; the regime calls it “defending democracy.”
